What is Media?

                                             What is Media?

Means of communication for certain ordinances depending on the subject through television, radio, newspapers and magazines. Through codes and conventions so that the target audience can understand the information on that particular media text. It influences people’s opinions and thoughts. It’s a way of connecting people and making new friends through social networking.

                                         Evolution of Media

Media started from the cave men when they grunted and drew pictures on stones to communicate and show what they were saying the drawings on the stones are still around now and they can still be discovered now and we can see what they did in past days and the ways in which media and the information in media was spread. Then it evolved into print based information which comes in platforms such as papers and magazines which was the first major breakthrough in sources and platforms to inform the public of what was going on in the world. Then it evolved into web based technological information on platforms such as phones, laptops and tablets which is where there was a major breath through in technology and the information went worldwide and really began to advance and entertain audiences because of the advancements in audio and video on search engines such as Google and YouTube. This information through different websites and blogs and this web based information can go on to persuade people to think like what the writer or author thinks.

  1. Some good points made. You needed to give some further examples to expand and support them. More Ml such as platforms, institutions would have improved response.
